 Freelance Seamstress 

Are you an experienced Wedding Dress Seamstress? Do you love making women feel beautiful? Are you a good listener and problem-solver? Do you have outstanding customer service skills?

If so, we would love for you to be a part of our team! 

• Our seamstresses are freelance, using our space for pinning/fittings only. You set your own pricing. 
• The actual work is to be performed at your preferred work/remote location. A tour of your sewing space/studio is required. 
• Must speak English (Bilingual is a plus).
• Be able to make minor repairs to stock inventory, when necessary.
• Ability to move throughout the store and your workspace, lift up to 10 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, stand, and reach up.

Skills

• People: cooperative, kind, diligent, detail-oriented, team player 
• Product: *hand sew knowledge and ability: buttons, buttonholes, hems, beading, appliqué. *able to operate sewing equipment and associates tooling: sewing machine, serger, iron, steamer 
• Understanding of sewing industry terminology: darts, seam types, seam placement, boning, alterations *garment terminology: fabric handling, fabric type, fit of garment, style of garment, bra cups 
• Understanding of bridal industry terminology: how to bustle, how to ‘close a corset’

Part-Time Bridal Consultant

We are seeking a Part-Time Bridal Consultant to assist our clients in selecting their wedding dresses and crafting complete, unique looks. Responsibilities of a Bridal Consultant include measuring clients, presenting and suggesting wedding gowns, and offering tailored advice on bridal styles. Your role will contribute significantly to our store's reputation as a premier destination for future brides.

Responsibilities:

- Recommend bridal gowns that complement each customer's body type and personal preferences.

- Educate customers on the variety of styles, colors, and designs available.

- Accessorize bridal outfits with jewelry, veils, and headpieces.

- Take client measurements as necessary.

- Provide precise information about gown details, including pricing and fabric.

- Arrange the collection and initial fitting of dresses.

- Potentially engage in bridal expos to showcase our store's collection to prospective clients.

- Help with in-store decoration.

- Practical experience in assembling complete bridal ensembles, including the dress, accessories, footwear, and hairstyle.
